*Saturday, March 13, 2010 – 4:55 pm*

Well, after the winds and rain continued and got worse throughout the day, I heard a very loud noise outside and this is what I found on my front lawn:   (these were being held up by a huge silver maple that’s just out of view).

    It was like this everywhere in Monmouth County, we had thousands without power here too. Luckily, not us. Although I have many Cedars uprooted. The nursery businesses love this kind of winter,,,Big Business.

    We have had that kind of weather here in NH the last few weeks as well. I’m glad this didn’t fall on your house like the one at your neighbors in your other post. March has certainly come in like a Lion!

    Glad you weren’t hurt, or that your property wasn’t damaged, except for the tree. It is soooo sad to see those large old trees uprooted. Sorry for the property damage, however. Great shots.
