A little break from ‘snow’ white (and I don’t mean the one with the dwarfs.)  Hawaii was the only state that didn’t have any snow!

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Madelaine! This is perfect for the White theme! Lovely shot. The reflection is great too.

While Hawaii was not effected in our recent winter blitz, it does receive snow. The three tallest peaks. Mauna Loa, Mauna Kea and Haleakala (13,000 for the first two and 10,000 ft for Haleakala) do receive snow even though it is not long lasting. Generally there is no snow below 9,000 ft there. But it has been known to snow as low as 3.000 ft.

Thanks Madelaine for reminding us that Spring can’t be too far way..even if we are buried under three feet of snow! Looks like we have plent of company. Beautiful flowers for the day.

Just when I think I’m sick of white stuff (as in snow), you show me how beautiful white can be!

Those tulips hit the spot! Breathtaking! BTW, I heard on the news that all 50 states had snow on the ground, but I think that was after your post.
